6.5x284 loads for 30" barrel 144-153.5grn

There has been several threads on the general topic but I'm looking for specific powders/loads for a 6.5x284 using the 144 to 153.5 grn bergers in a longer barrel. I have some H4381sc and H4350 but was wondering about something slower in the 30"barrel.

Does anyone have experience with this combination?

Thanks,
Glenn

I used to use 6.5 x 284s for F-Open. Wonderful cartridge.. When the 150SMKs came out I went to H1000.. Worked GREAT>>>but the bullet blew up in the 7.5twist barrel.. H1000 and VV N565 will work great.. Start out at 52.5 and work towards a max out at 54.0grs and you will find what you are looking for..

I'm perfectly happy with the H4831sc. I have a 30" barrel and running it pretty conservatively at around 2975 with 51.3 grains of powder. I can easily get 3100+ with 53 grains and no pressure. I just like my groups with the 51-52 grains and speeds around 3000

I'm using an 8" twist. What are you using?

Lapua brass (on 19th firing), CCI BR2, 57.7gr H1000, 3.135col. This load gives me 3005fps from a 24" 1-8 Krieger with SD's around 2fps.
