6.5x284 load data

I am awaiting delivery of a Cooper in 6.5x284, but in the mean time I thought I would load up a few rounds using various bullets and powders to have on hand when it arrived for testing. Does anyone have a "pet" load or can anyone suggest a site to go to for load data, both hunting and target.

Any help would be appreciated.

some where around 53gr of RL 22,cci br-2 primers, lapua 139 bullets and cases, this load has worked in two barrels so far, just watch the pressure, i had one 6.5 that wouldnt let me get past 49 grs. i dont know how long your barrel is, but velocities will be around 3040-3060fps. I think H4350 is boarderline too fast for this cartridge, i personally will never use it again in a 6.5-284.

Try 140gr Sierra Match Kings with 47gr of Reloader 22, oal 2.930, shoots 1/2 inch groups in my Cooper mod 22. Also 120gr Sierra Match Kings, oal 2.934 with 51 gr Reloader 22 is about the same accuracy. Primers are Fed 210M, I have used Norma, Lapua and Hornady brass with the same results from each. Reloader 22 is very good with the 6.5 x 284 in Cooper Rifles! As always, work up to these loads, but they are not maximum loads, just accurate.
