6.5x284 light bullet info

Looking at maybe doing a6.5x284 for varmints. . . the heaviest bullets world be 105s. ..anyone have some input for twist and free bore? I'm leaning on a 1-10 but unsure of the free bore. . .any input would be appreciated

Is the gun already made? If not maybe take a peak at doing a 6-284 instead of its bigger brother the 6.5. I have many varmint guns, if I was forced to narrow it down to one, it would be my 6-284 that I kept. I've got a 6.5-284 as well and it too is one of my favorites but for varmints, I'll take a 6-284 all day long. Just a thought.

Thanks for the input. . .i considered the 6 but am leaning hard on the 6.5. . .barrel life was a little concern but not a whole lot, and with seirra putting out a blitz king 105gr in 6.5 that gives me 3 choices of varmint bullets with polymer tips in the 6.5 that I'm sure I'll be able to get moving quite fast and I've not had a6.5 varmint gun. . . thanks again
