6.5mm SAUM bushings

Hello and compliments of the season

I have been using a Hornady New Dimension FL die in 7mm SAUM to neck down from 300 Norma SAUM to 7mm SAUM. I have then been using a 0.298 bushing, followed by a 0.292 bushing for the final stage.

However, I sold my 7mm SAUM die set so I need someone to tell me the correct bushings for necking down the 300 Norma SAUM, to the point where I'll finish off with the 0.298 then the 0.292 bushing.

I have ordered a Redding 7mm SAUM Body Die to take care of bumping the shoulders of the cases back, rather than try to use the 7mm SAUM FL die to do this.

Cheers,

Michael.

I kinda do things my own way...

IIRC, I use a .315 bushing, as first pass for .300SAUM brass. That necks them down enough to fit just nice on a .284" mandrel, Then, I use a K&M neck turner & trim necks to .0145".

With necks turned & trued @ 7mm, then I step down the rest of the way, .291" as final size...
