6.5MM Barrel Twist

I've always used 8" twist barrels for my 6.5MM's with good results. I'll soon need a new barrel and I've seen some 8.5"Twist bbls in stock. Will they work with 140 class vld bullets? I only push them about 2800fps.

Definitely. I used a 8.5" twist McGowen with 140 Berger VLDs and it worked perfectly. Never had trouble stabilizing them and accuracy was very good.
