6.5mm 135 gr BIB bullets

they sound like killer bullets,,anybody shot them yet at 600 yards,,I got a new Krieger 4 groove 8 twist 31" blank I am gonna have done in 6.5x47L and want to try the 135 BIB`s,,got 250 coming to test ,,I heard they take a longer FB than most other bullets and just wondered if anybody had shot them and how they do??

I really like the 104 BIBs in my 6 BRDX

you think a bbl setup for the 135 BIB would still be able to reach the lands with the 140 Bergers??
Yes, it will. I have a 6.5 barrel throated at .188" (or very near that) and I have shot the 135gr BIB, 140 Berger H's and various other 140-142gr bullets with no issues being able to move the distance to lands around a bit (from long jumps to jams with all) and still had plenty of neck holding the bullets. (6.5 x55 BJAI)

Which of these bullets shoot the best for you?

I have only played a little with the bibs in my 6.5 creed. Need to try some smaller seat depth changes and more playing at distance. Did shoot them at 500 and 975 the other day. At 500 they shot very good, was just shooting steal so not going to tell you group size, but it was good. At 975 I first shot a different load and by the time I went back to these gun wasn't cooling much in the sun and heat so only shot a few. Couple hits on the steel right away and then just stopped. Seem very promising

how long is the neck on that case?? I havent gotten the 135 BIB`s in hand yet but with the 6.5x47L case I am getting reports of needing over .200 FB for them.

The Precision Ballistics 142gr at 2960 hands down.... As far as the BIB, I was shooting them with cases that were acting really 'funky' (RWS brass). I $hi+ canned that brass for Lapua but have not tried the BIB's since...I may need to retest them in proper cases now.

I don't recall the exact neck length but it is a little shorter than the standard 6.5 x55 SE. The bearing surface was not past the neck/shoulder junction from my recollection at 0.008" OTL.
