6.5c w 95 vmax

I have a Browning X bolt hells canyon speed in 6.5 Creedmoor that I bought for deer/antelope. Been thinking it would be fun to kill some yotes with a lighter bullet. Anyone had success with 95 v-max? What powder? Obviously I don’t care about the pelt.

Consult Nosler manual on most accurate load for their 100g ballistic tip, substitute the 95g if so inclined...good idea. Expect very, very dead coyotes.

My Nosler no. 6 doesn’t have Creedmoor data. What does yours state as most accurate powder for 95 gr bullets?

They will be scootin'. Should make a grand mess of a coyote. I bought a box to try in a 6.5grendel, but haven't gotten to that project yet..kinda need a barrel and dies still.

I shoot the 95gr V-Max, and it makes a pile of yuckie.

Tried in 260 with 47 gr of h4350 target at l00 yds looked good but es was 44

But it's coyotes, not benchrest.

It is far better to have a bullet that goes nuclear on contact with an es of 44, than one that goes zippin' right on through, with an es of 3.
