6.5 x 47 lapua Brass ???

I called Bruno's this morning and I was put on a waiting list for the brass. They are quoting laste summer/ fall for the brass to be here!!!

I was just told that 6.5x47 brass did not make it in the shipment to Grafs. It wil be shipped by air around the first week of June.

Its hard to say when the brass is going to get here. You can always just make your own out of something while you wait. Then just think how nice it will be when the real stuff gets here
I cant wait to get my project rolling and I sure as heck ain't waiting on a slow boat of brass!!

Chris, using my 6XC sizing die I can size the 6.5 Lapua body from the shoulder down to .290 or so from the base.The 6XC is .051 taller from base shoulder than the 6.5 Lapua, so of course this won't bump the shoulder back. However, I think if I have around .053 taken off the bottom of 6XC body die and hone the inside a bit,it might just make a decent 6.5 lapua shoulder bump die.

As of last week Redding was still waiting on tooling to arrive.
