6.5 x 47 ,120-125gr

Is there anyone out there with a pet load for this bullet range. I have been shooting 130 bergers but I would like to try something lighter without putting a lot of loads down this barrel. Any help would be appreciated. Twist is 8.5. Thanks

I'm using a select match grade Shilen 28" barrel with 1:8 ratchet twist shooting the SMK 123gr. bullet. 37.4gr RL15 2820 fps seatedd to 0.010 jump.
CCI 450 (mag) primers... getting sub .3 MOA at 300

I'm using 120 Amax with 41.5 grs. of H4350 FGMM primers. Also use 123 Amax with 41.2 grs. H4350 and FGMMs. Both shoot equally well in the .170's. 8 twist Douglas Prim. bbl.

Try 123gr SMK's seated 7K into the lands... I use 41.6grs. of H4350 and CCI 450's. Good for 2950 with 1" @ 300 yard groups.

123 SMK's here. .26" Criterion, 1 in 8 twst. 37.7 gr RL-15. Vel. 2920, SD= 8, Kissing lands. Jammed didn't work for me. bug holes at 100yds. Have yet to shoot for group at LD. Looks pretty promising busting clays @ 600 though. Will try comparable V-max next. Haven't been to impressed w/ consistency of dimension box to box on SMK's. Just my experience could have been a fluke. Never-the-less SMK's sorted by OTB shot very well.

Doesn't make a 'hoot n hells' difference through my Jon Beanland built rifle whether shooting the 123 gr. Sierra HPBT...which this 15 round group is...or the Berger 130 VLDs which shoot the same way! Load is 38.5 grs. Varget with a BR-4 primer.
