6.5 wssm pressure question????

Guys I have a 6.5 wssm actually 2 the first one I love it's set up as a single shot and is insanely accurate with 123 scenars and 44 grains of h 4350.
The second is a similar fast twist setup but has a box mag on the same action the box mag is for a wssm so +\_ 2.3 inches oal. I want to shoot 140 amaxs out of the second gun as its more of a hunter but because of that I want to use the magazine and be able to feed from it. The only loads I have been able to find for the 6.5 wssm with 140/142s are with imr 4350 in the low to mid 40s the question is that it does not seem as though those are loads to mag length. If I drop way down low 30s and build up can I get the 140s to work from the mag safely or will seating that far into the brass cause me problems or dangerous pressure spikes. Anyone have similar experience or any knowledge or thoughts it would be greatly appreciated
Thanks don

My 6.5 WSSM is throated very long (hardly any bullet in the neck with 140gn jammed) . I am using around 43gns with 140gn bullets jammed in this particular barrel. I would have thought that with your shorter throat, reducing it down to 40gns of H4350 would be enough. I think dropping down to the low 30s as you mentioned would likely be too low pressure.

Thanks I took it to 35 with imr 4350 tpph it up all the way to 43 without pressure signs with the bullets seated to mag length so I will start to shoot groups at 41 or so an build up till I see pressure signs. I just wasn't sure the extent of the additional pressure from seating that much farther in but so far seems like I can get close to what you are saying now I just need to see if I can find an accuracy node.
Thanks
D
