6.5 Weatherby RPM, load data needed

Looking for a proven hunting load for this kinda obsolete cartridge.

I don't consider this cartridge to be obsolete or even 'kinda' obsolete. It's possible that you may have missed some of the articles written or not been involved in some of the conversations being had in shooter's circles. No, there aren't a lot of factory rifles being chambered for this cartridge, I consider this to be a loss for the factories. But given the condition of the ammunition and reloading components market, I can see why even if I don't agree.

The loss is based on the fact that there are quite a few 6.5mm cartridges which are currently more popular than spooling up for a new cartridge, especially a Weatherby cartridge known for their expensive components and ammunition. The shooting I've done with the RPM has been very useful for me especially when chambered in a hunting rifle. Yes I have other 6.5mm cartridges but this one is a positive addition to every shooter's selection of rifles.

Most writers are touting the use of the Barnes 127 LRX BT for the velocity. I haven't had much success with this bullet.

I have been using the Badlands 135 BD2 but in a custom barrel throated for this bullet. Powders include but not limited to:

Re25
VVN-568
Magpro
H-1000
And a couple of others which I'm not remembering at the moment.

You can interpolate between the .264 Win. Mag and the 26 Nosler to get a starting point for your rifle and chamber.

Enjoy the process!

All of the loads suggested above are from manufacturers and suppliers so they will necessarily be slightly under powered as has been discussed on numerous occasions. Blame the litigious society we live in. It's also easy to claim that your loads are superior when we have no data to discuss or knowledge of your operating pressure. I'm not trying to be rude, only pointing out a couple of facts.;)
