6.5 PRC N560 or Re#26 144gr Berger Hybride

I have a 28"Bartlien HV contour. Temps between 40-55 degrees. 144gr Berger Hybrid. I've been shooting Ramshot grand and have since run out. But I do have Re#26 and N560 along with Ramshot Magnum. This will be for a Long range Varmint steel silhouette match in November. Any suggestions?

I load for four different 6.5 PRC's with N560 with 147 ELDM's in Lapua brass. With 55gr over a CCI 250 gives me 2995 fps from a 26" barrel.

We were shooting steel at 1400 yards last saturday, and will be doing it again this saturday, temperatures similar to what you're anticipating, snow is coming....

RL 26 will probably get you the highest velocity.

N560 is a good choice too but I have primarily used N565/H1000 in mine. They have proven to be identical in charge weight.

We’ve been using a lot of N565 with 140-153.5gr bullets in multiple 6.5 PRCs. I have several friends shooting this in their Tikka roughtechs. We’re getting 2850-2900 with excellent accuracy, single digit SD and good ES numbers.

I just used N555 in two 7 Saum improveds. I’m getting 2850-2870 with 180 Bergers in 20” CF proof barrels.

If you N560 I’d would think it would be a good choice, maybe a bit fast for a 28” barrel, maybe perfect. One way to find out.ideally you would be able to experiment, with N555, N560 and N565 and see what the rifle and targets tells you.
