6.5 prc bullet selection

I've seen some threads about this but they seem to focus on hunting and i only use this rifle for informal long range steel targets. Long range for me is usually 1k yards but I have access to 1 mile and I want to try this rifle at the mile soon.
Rifle is a factory ruger precision in 6.5 prc. I've been loading 147 eld-m and they've shot alright but not great. The other 6.5 bullets I have on hand are lighter (used for creed) Including 140 eld-m, 140 berger hybrid, and 142 Sierra. I have lapua or hornady brass and powders I have 4831sc, retumbo, or h1000 that would he suitable.

So my question is, any thoughts on using the 140 class bullets for prc for long range target or should I just order something like the berger 153 and not waste time with the 140s?

For my RPR 6.5 PRC, I've been shooting 142 SMK's, Berger 140 Hybrids and the 153.5 Hybrids. All three of these do really well. For powder, I've used Retumbo, H4831SC, N565 and RL-23. All these powder have worked, but the best one for me has been the N565 followed by H4831SC . . . for all the above bullets. For some reason, Retumbo seemed a little finicky to get tuned. RL-23 actually surprised me that it worked well.
IMHO, the 14O Hyb work just fine out to 1000. But I really like the 153.5's With 57.5 grs of N565 pushing the 153.5's I was getting 2891 FPS that worked well out of my non-factory barrel (26" Preferred Barrel Blanks heavy barrel).

I’m using 144gr hybrids-57.5-58gr Retumbo-2997fps

Only powder I tried-recommended by a great competition shooter
Same for the bullet-

Accuracy is 3/8”-1/2” groups at 300yds out of my maxi tracker rifle..
