6.5 prc bullet choice

So i got a 6.5 prc rifle last year. I was hoping my daughter would get drawn for a youth elk hunt and was going to take it on that hunt, but when 170,000 people applied for a tag in my state this year odds was not in her favor. I has factory 143 eldx ammo to take if it happened. But now i got dies last week finally and am woundering if anyone has a recommended bullet of choice in this cartridge. I hear good things about 153 atips but too rich for my blood. Im not hoping for a far out shot. Something inside of 500 yards. Any thoughts?

Sierra 130 Tipped Game King might be good, or Berger 140 gr Elite Hunter or 156 gr EOL Elite Hunter might be good if you can find one of them. I don’t know if you can mag feed the 156 though.

Most 6.5s like the 140 class pills. Just my two cents. Tommy Mc

I've always liked Bonded bullets so Swift, Woodleigh, Hornady, Nosler bonded whichever shoots best in your rifle. Swift A-Frames have had the edge over the years for me.
