Carlson Reese, Hartsville, TN brought his 6.5 PRC over to the DOME Sunday afternoon. His first cold bore shot was touching the 9 ring on my 600 yd plate that has scoring rings etched into it.
One shot at 600 and he went to 800 yd checking his come ups and then we went to the top of Rocky Top for a 1480 yd pop.
I have a red flasher on the 31" x 31" AR 500 plate. First shot was a little low, and shot #3 set of the electronic flasher. After a couple of hits he let Junebug try.
Junebug's first hit was centered up nicely. One more shot and he had a tiny group. I told him to go ahead and make it a 3 shot group. Next shot was also a good one.
5 Inch, 3 shot group at 1480 is not to bad for a Ruger Model 77.

Carlson was very happy with his rifle. That was the longest shot he had taken with it.
Next visit we will go to 2,000. Ran out of sunlight yesterday.

Amazing resemblance to Brian Bowling who has been to the DOME twice.
