6,5 mm Bullet stability factor

Does anyone know where i can find the length of 6,5 mm (264) Lapua Scenar bullets

100 grs
108 grs
123 grs
139 grs

And also the new ScenarL in
120 grs
136 grs

I'm going to calculate the stability factor for those bullets in my 1/8,5 twist rifle, but Lapua don't seem to list the length on theyr website...

no 23,
Might I suggest you get hold of Kevin Thomas (Western states Lapua Rep) who also posts on this blog. I know Kevin shoots the Lapua Scenars bullets in his .308 in competition, but probably has the info (or can get it) you seeks even on the 6.5's. Hope that helps.

Thank you Shynloco...

I will check it out, maybe Erik Cortina (also writes here) knows this as well... if not i suppose i could head out to the local store with my digital caliper and measure it... ;D

Hi no 23, on the batches I have 123gr scenars are 1302 thou long, and the 139gr scenars are 1365 thou long, I to have a 1-8.5 twist 260 (26inch) barrel and the both stabilise fine, 130 & 140gr bergers will not stabilise in my rifle
Regards, dooley
