6.5 Grrrr on Browning A Bolt super short action

Being new here I am kind of sheepish to ask dumb questions. But , I will ask it anyway. I am a fan of the 6.5 Grendel, looking at the Howa mini action and just wondering, has anyone else thought of maybe getting a Browning A Bolt in the super short action and turning it into a Grendel length action? Maybe finding one of the 223 Rem opening up the bolt , screwing on a new barrel. Just wondering if this would be feasible ? Opinions? Don't beat me up to bad folks . I happen to like the A Bolts , prefer the originals to the A Bolt II.

I think Dusty said it. Not really taking my guns out side of the range setting; however, I don't see many A-bolts. I can say the Howa minis are great, several of us have been doing the heavy barrel which performs very well right out of the box; or we capitalize on Brownells barreled action sales and built our own rig. Downfalls are all centered around the magazine and mag well, but there are ways of fixing that now.

The light barrel seems to do well also, but I see far fewer postings or targets. You may want to check 65grendel.com for A-bolt info and rifle options.
