I use Redding Type S Match Neck die sets for most of my reloading but need to know if I can mix and match for necked down calibers.
Can I use the standard Redding 300 WSM dies with the right size neck sizing bush to cover the necked down to 6.5 cases as well as the standard 300 WSM cases? Would I need to neck the brass down to 6.5mm using a standard Redding 6.5 WSM full length sizing die or would the neck sizing bush do the job?
Would the same thing apply to using Redding Type S Match dies in 284W and necking down for 6.5-284W brass? It would be better to buy dies that cover two calibers if possible.
Any advice from those that know would be much appreciated!
