Does Lapua make 6.5 Creedmore brass?

No, just Hornady for the time being.

I've used Lapua's new Palma brass to make cases for 6XC with great success but it took a few ruined cases before I figured out the right steps in the right sequence.

Seen some 6BR cases made from the Palma brass too but not sure why, given they already make that....

I was motivated by the small primer case head, hoping to improve primer pocket longevity over what I'd been getting from all the other 6XC case options. Seems to be working but then I didn't get too much 6XC shot this year, focused more on Palma & some NMC events with my 6HAGAR spacegun instead.

Lapua have their 6.5x47, I don't think they want to canablize their own sales as the Creedmore is no doubt trademarked/licensed.

Hi, I shoot a 6.5 creedmoor.
As I did not have brass initially for it, I neck sized and turned down some 308 federal brass fired once.
They happen to be extremely consistent in weight, around 170 grains.
I have just bought a 100 6.5 creedmoor brass made by hornady, and they weight 150 grains on average.I have not played with it yet but I hope i will get more than 3 reloads from it .

I just received my price list from Nosler for Club ordering and they are going to offer 6.5Creedmoor brass soon. Legend has it that Norma makes brass for Hornady and Nosler but I do not know if this is true or not.

I have been using the Hornady brass since I bought my rifle last year. I haven't had any primer pockets that are loose at all. not sure what loads they were using to loosen them. I was doing load testing, and went above levels on all the powders I tried. I even had a few shiny heads and tuned the loads back down. primer pockets getting loose wasn't an issue at all. I did hear the same thing while looking early on for brass myself. everyone mentioned it was the early brass Hornady did that was soft. look at the 6.5creedmoor forum. there are lots of good things over there. ROB01 is on there a bunch, he actually shoots for hornady. I used to dislike hornady brass more than I care to say. but after using the 6.5CM brass, I have changed my opinion on it. It has been great.
