6.5 Creedmore Barrel length?

If you can handle the length, then no reason.

If this is for tactical applications, you can go 26" and then put a muzzle brake.
If you are using a suppressor, you can probably go 24-26"
If no brake and you want a little more speed, then 27" would be good

If this is for F-Open, then skip the 27" and go 30-32" straight 1.25" diameter barrel :P

Tactical, just use a SAAMI spec reamer.

For F-Class, you might want to modify some of the reamer specs to get the desired neck clearance and freebore. All of specs can remain the same as a SAAMI spec standard 6.5 creedmoor reamer.

Equally as important as barrel length. I've seen reamers run from .108" to .199" that a huge difference. One company list their "Tactical Reamer" at .108" which must be for light bullet short game tactical, for 140's I would be looking at the other end of the spectrum.

You might want to drop in on the 6.5 Creedmoor forum to see what those guys say. IMO you should be looking at a little longer free bore than SAAMI if you plan on using Berger 140's.
