6.5 Creedmoor

Has anyone tried H4831SC, N160, or N550 in the 6.5 CM? I need some good starting points as there is not much out there on these three.

Don't hold me to this, but I ran this through my existing quick load file for a 140 AMAX at Coal 2.800

These would be maxes for me:

Hodgdon H4831 SC - 46.0 grains = 59557 PSI

Vihtavuori N160 - 45.4 grains = 59606 PSI

Vihtavuori N550 - 42.5 grains = 59512 PSI

START LOWER AND WORK UP.

We show :
N550 = 36.5 grains starting- 40.4 grains max . Approximate velocities are 2441 to 2679 FPS. Approximate fill ratio is 92%
Its not on your list. But if you can find H4350 it looks to be promising also.
H4350 = 36.5 grains start - 40.7 grains max. Approximate velocities are 2378 to 2634 FPS. Approximate fill ratio is 96 %.
These loads are based on magazine length cartridges. Optimum performance can be gained by bullet seating depth testing which MAY allow you to exceed these maximum loads and increase velocities. Just being curious here... Are you asking this because these are powders you already have? I ask because I believe H4350 is the most popular powder for 6.5CM for both the 123 and 139/140 bullets.

Thanks JVW. I am using 4350. Have a 30" barrel and these powders. Wanted to see if any may group better than 4350 that's all.
