6.5 Creedmoor reduced loads?

I'm in the process is getting 2 teen age girls ready for the next hunting season and it turns out that one is very recoil sensitive. Have any of you developed any 6.5 Creedmoor reduced loads that I can try? Just to get her used to shooting the rifle.
I found a thread started by LoganDon who had pretty much the same situation, but it's almost 6 years old.
Thanks

Yes you get that if you have bench sessions focused on accuracy.
Now you need reverse what you have done and rebuild their confidence with either reduced loads or sissy padding that even at 63 I still use for all serious bench sessions.
Bruising the new shooter is the most serious crime and especially at the bench whereas offhand shooting with even moderate recoiling shooting platforms is quite manageable by even quite slight shooters.

Now first you need disclose the quarry and expected ranges which determines the gunnery required for even inexperienced shooters with moderately recoiling rifles.

I have loaded the 120 TTSX for a few friends and they shot and performed very well.

For recoil sensitive new shooters, I have found that often times the sound of the shot affects them more than the kick. It may seem ridiculous, but foamy insert ear plugs along with over-the-ear muffs can help new shooters as much or more than stepping the caliber down.

120 Ballistic Tips over RL16 @ 2950fps is very mild in an 8# rifle. But then I have a few 1/2 moon scope scars on my forehead, so it's all relative.

Like FeMan said above, my grand daughter is deadly with a rimfire but is bothered more by the sound than the come back with the Creedmoor 120s, a 700V in 22-250 Ackley, or an 11# 25-06 with 87s. Hopefully we'll be working on that this summer.

1) drop down to varmint bullets like 90TNT or 95 VMAX.
2) go up in burn rate to varget/RL15 burn range. You can run charges as low mid 30gr range—35-36gr.

Even at the book minimum of 37gr if these faster powders, you’ll barely pass 3000fps with a 90gr, so you’re well below.243 power.

And with h4895 you could drop probably as low as 30gr.

Google -
IMR® TRAIL BOSS® REDUCED LOADS
FOR RIFLE AND PISTOL.

1) Find where the base of the bullet to be loaded is located in the case and make a mark on the outside of the case at this location.
Then fill the case to that mark with Trail Boss, pour into the scale pan and weigh. This is your maximum load. Pressures will
be below the maximum allowed for this cartridge and perfectly safe to use!
2) Take 70% of this powder charge weight (multiply the maximum load from step 1 by .7), and that is your starting load.
3) Start with this beginning load and work up to your maximum charge, all the while searching for the most accurate reduced load. Once
found, the fun begins!

39.5-40g of H4350 topped with 129g Hornady SST will put you right at 2500fps and is the load I used for my 10 year old son. Worked perfectly on 2 doe and a buck in Michigan and Ohio. Full expansion and good exit hole size and large blood trails. None of the three deer ran more than 50 yards. Solid load and extremely low recoil.

Thanks guys, it sounds like H4895 is the way to go with light bullets.
Also, I appreciate the tip on doubling up the ear protection, I'll give it a try.
I double up ear protection for competitions now. I wear swimmers ear silicone putty in the ears with walkers electronics over that.

I use a lot of AA 5744, which is usually available, for reduced loads in bottle necked cartridges. There is a simple volume based formula to use it plus Lyman's cast bullet manual is a goldmine for reduced loads. They don't have 6.5CM but the 260 rem data works fine. These loads run mainly in the 1700-2300 fps range and can be amazingly accurate. Just substitute similar weight jacketed bullets for the lead loads. Pressures run pretty low unless you use fast pistol powder. Plus, pistol primers can work fine with mid speed powders if you are conserving rifle primers in cases up to about 30-06 capacity or larger. I often find good accuracy with bullets that don't work well at higher velocity loadings and so use up those bullets long forgotten about.

My daughter-in-law is also. She started of shooting 140s. Dropped down to 130s and found a slower mode. All is well. If they were mine I would start them off with .243s.
Agree with THIS ^^^
My 12 year old grandson, shot a nice sized, 3 x 4 Idaho Muley at, 268 yards with a Berger 87 grain, HVLD and it looked like, the "Hammer of Thor", hit him,.. One hop,.. DRT ! ( Insides,.. Jello )
He Practices with, 87 gr. V-Maxes, on Steel ( Same H-4895 load @ 3,000 + FPS same, POI ).
NO complaints about, practicing a lot ( all field positions ) from him as, the Recoil, is almost, NON-existant !
My THANKS go to, Plumsak for his "Tip" on using, this Deadly, proven, Berger Bullet.
For Deer / Antelope sized Game, the .243 Win is,.. "Plenty" !

123 SSTs over 40 grains of H4350 yields about 2700 FPS. It's like shooting a 6.5 Grendel. My 11 year old did just fine with a light 6.5 lb gun.

Agree that, the thicker jacketed, 123 gr. SST bullet, should work Fine, in a 6.5 Creed. on Deer !
I shoot, 123 ELD-M's for, Coyotes / playing on steel, but would NOT recommend them for, Deer as, they are, a bit too "explosive" ( hard on Meat ) and won't penetrate Bone, well.

I would Trust the ones that have donated funds to the Website. They have Skin in the game.
It was some time after I joined this site before I became a contributor. I can't remember at any time that someone told me to only listen to those that have donated.........I do agree that this site is worth a yearly donation. But I'm not going to tell someone that non-contributing members should not be trusted......That's just messed up.
