6.5 creedmoor powder of choice

I am starting to piece together a 6.5 creedmoor build and I was wondering what the general consensus was for the optimum powder for 6.5 creedmoor. I know hornady use 4350 in their 140gr ammo and Varget in their 120gr ammo, but what are you handloaders finding works best. I plan on mainly using 130gr Bergers and 140gr bergers and maybe 140gr Hornadys. Thanks,
Mason

IMR4350 w/140 Amax or 142 SMK.

Got it because I couldn't find H4350. I have both now but haven't tested the H yet. I have no doubt that it will work fine, however.

6.5CM is a fairly easy caliber to load for.

4350 it is then. Got the action, working on the stock and have brass and dies. I just need barrel and optics!

I've tried 100V, Re15, Re17, Varget, IMR4350, and H4350. Varget was right decent with the 123's and Re17 was very fast with 130 VLD's, but the 4350's give me good velocity and good accuracy with all weights I have tried. I have used H4350 and Varget the most. The others were tried for the heck of it.

If I had to pick, I would use H4350, because I like the label better than the IMR4350 ;), and 130 VLD's. My rifle, I think, prefers the 130's a little better than the 140's, and my son's rifle likes both. Mine has an Obermeyer and my son's a Brux. The rifles are, for all practical purposes, identical except for the barrels and were chambered with the same new reamer.

I have been shooting RL17 in mine, as a hunting rifle. gives higher velocity the the either 4350's . The 4350's either one has shot great. To get the ES down on the RL17 you need about .004 good neck tension(it seems). to light neck tension the RL17 seems to produce 100 to 150 FPS ES. so with .004 neck tension i was able to tune it down to around 25 FPS on average. I saw some guys shooting RL17 and 205gr A-max's in .308 win at the range and they said it seems to group better if they criped their bullets in..Thanks guy great tip. so i put on the neck tension and it shoots very well. five shot groups at 100 yrds under 1/2' to 1/2' AT worst. Im going to be trying some Ramshot Hunter soon.
