I believe that Lee Wells at Accurate and Reliable Rifles has been doing 10s in 6.5x47.

You ought to give Brad at superior tactical solutions in Henderson KY a call . I have a sts lrt in .260 rem. that is a great rifle. He is building a ar10 in 308 win for me it should be here after the first of year. Very good guy to do bussiness with .

Georgia Precision also makes a 260 Remington GAP 10.

GA got back to me. over $600 just for a barrel. I think I'll pass.

my DPMS rifle is shooting 1/2" 5 shot groups at 100 with regularity using factory Hornady ammo. I don't think you can touch that kind of quality for the price. $1200 for a rifle and $850 for an upper.

Looking for a .260 rem barrel? Armalite sells barrel assemblies, complete w/gas block, barrel extension, and gas tube. About $450 match stainless, but for $600 think the GAP would be an investment worth considering...

6mmXC is also a great ctg to consider.

Might also contact Turner Enterprises. Albert Turner has built AR-10 HighPower uppers.

Criterion and Krieger will also do AR-10 barrels.
