I was wondering if anyone has any hands on experience in How well these bullets kill on coyotes or other small varmints? I have a short freebore 6.5x47 Lapua reamer I would like to use if the bullet is thin skinned.

THERE BAD ON VARMINTS I SHOOT THEM IN MY 6.5 GRENDEL WITH 335 AND HAVE TAGGED A FEW CRITTERS OUT TO 400 YDS AND THEY DONT LIKE IT I REALLY LIKE THIS BULLET

I have hit coyotes just behind the shoulder and cut them in half...:D. The cup is thin but it's the diameter of the hollow point which starts the maximum expansion immediately. These bullets are 'explosive' on prairie dogs at the shorter ranges.

Remember that the G1 BC is only about 0.280 or so, not long range by any means. If I sight in at 100 yards, I will stretch it out to about 400 yards which amounts to nearly 15" of holdover or less if your aim is center of mass or slightly lower. The acrobatics are better with slightly lower hits!:D

I am going 6.5x47 Lapua with the 90g tnt, with an 8T which is all I have. I have never had a 90g tnt in my hand, they are being shipped...I ordered 10 boxes.

Does anybody have a 6.5X47 load for these? I bought a couple of boxes a while back with the idea in mind of groundhogs at 250 yards or under.

Haven't shot the Speer however the Sierra 100 gr. HP's have done extremely well in my 6.5X47L. Used Benchmark and BR4's...

I used them once to kill a possum at 250yds from a 19.5 inch Model one upper. they also left some pretty good dents in 1/4 inch steel that got turned up by a plow out in the corn field last year.
