Hi Guys
Im in Australia and using ADI 2209 which is H4350. ADI make the H4350 for Hodgdon.
Anyway, on the 6.5-284 page I noticed most guys where using a very stout loads. Around the 48 - 49.5 grains with 142 mk's and 139 Lapua's. This is 2 - 3.5 grains above the recommended maximum of 46 grains as per the Hodgdon load data.
My question is, is this what everyone is doing with their loads. Im have a Savage F Class and have started loading up some rounds for it and wondering if I should also load a few up to the 48 grains and see how they go. Or is it much more important to get this thing running in the 2950 - 3000 fps as mentioned on the 6.5-284 page.
What do you guys suggest.
Thanks Trevor
