6.5-.284 Shehane

Does this use the same go and no go gauges as the standard 6.5-.284? I'm getting conflicting advice. What's the difference in the two? Less taper in the body?

All of the case dimensions of the Shehane are the same as the standard 6.5X284/284 except the case body diameter at the shoulder is 0.485 inches instead of the standard 0.475 inches. The shoulder angle is the same and the distance to the neck/shoulder junction is the same.

The Shehane has less body taper . The go guage should be the same . Call Dave Kiff at Pacific Tool and Die , he can definitely tell you . He does an absolutely remarkable job of explaining things on all my reamer/guage questions .
