6.5 - 120 Grain Lapua Scenar's

Looking for some load advice for using 120 grain Lapua Scenar's in my Seekins Bravo 6.5, will be using H4350 powder.

Thanks!

Have used 42.3gr H4350 with excellent results in a 20” +2 gas Proof CF AR barrel, with both 120 and 123 Scenars. Check distance to lands, however, as the 120L is a more tangent shaped ogive than the 123’s. From memory, about 2830fps and low SD’s.

I found my best load with those and 39.0 Varget, in my AR10, it was easier on the brass and rifle than H4350. it took 44.5 H4350 to get the accuracy close, but it was a little faster. Those two loads were taken from the Hornady 120 boxes.

I'm loading 41.5g of 4350 or Win Staball with a Scenar 139g for good results (so far). I would work up from there, but I like the idea of Varget with the lighter bullet. One of my F=Class buddies shoots 38g with 140s without destroying the brass

Good to know! Planning on a light weight AR10 in 6.5 Creedmoor. Wondering if I'll get accuracy close to my bolt gun out to 1400yards.

Walt Kraft-
Any chance that 49.5 H4350 was a fat fingered figure? Far over any suggested load I’ve ever seen.

My 260 produced a .106 group yesterday with 44 grains of N555 450 pr 139 scenar I was impressed the 136 and 139 scenars shot several .2's groups going into the donut
