6.5 1000 yard bullet comparison today

I will be shooting 3 different match bullets and assessing there performance.

Contenders are molyed and are as followed all .005 jamed into lands with .002 neck tension.

140 Berger VLD
140 Hornaday A-max
139 lapua scenar

I have 30-30-30 loaded for my 20 rounds for score and unlimited sighters. SO I should be all set.

Today's Bodines match is 3 matches instead of the regular 2 matches.

I'll post my observations and scores with each.

Rhino - I'd be just as interested in the comparative come-ups at differnt ranges of the three bullets too. I think you've already said the Berger prints higher than the SMK.

My 6.5 F-Class rifle just arrive last week, so this is now interesting.

A friend of mine, and myself both have 6.5x284's, we shoot the exact same load, same barrel,Krieger 8.5" twist), velocity is +/- 15 fps of each other, he shoots 139 Lapua, I shoot 142 Sierra, and our come-ups and windage are identical
