And I'm guilty of neglect! Last season I posted that my 5X45AI, a.k.a. .20-.223AI, 8 1/2tw started poofing the 39's but the 55's still shot very well so I finished the season with them. I don't normally clean during the season if it is still killing due to fouling the barrel, read range trip. I checked it earlier this year and it wasn't grouping well so I came back and pulled the scope and stuck it on my 6.5X47L to get started this year. While it was down I scrubbed the bore and gave it a dose of Iosso. Today I put the scope back on and off to the range. Started with fire forming loads to foul it and to my surprise they were making it all the way to the target! Finished up with about 20 rounds fired and lost none including formed cases at 4100 fps! Guess I'll keep it cleaner this season as the terminal ballistics with the BK's is nothing short of amazing as Snert can attest to after seeing a photo of complete decapitation.
