Are these bullets pretty jump tolerant? I will have to jump them about .100'' to get them in the neck properly. Curious if anyone has had luck with the jumped that far.
Thanks,
Alex

are you using the 6mm 55nbts? i have some and wonder the same...i'll have to jume a bit also. think i'll just seat them 1/3 down neck and vary .005 in and out and look for a node.

Yes ballistic tips jump well. I have had good success with most any caliber with ballistic tips around 20 thousands off the lands.

Yes I am talking 6mm. Anyone jump them over .100''?

Yes, and their very accurate. I tried going .050 off the lands and the bullet wouldn't even stay in the neck. I looked up the recommended COAL, set them, and never looked back.

Yes, the 55 Nosler will jump ok as does the lighter 40g BT. I have always loaded my 223's at the standard OAL since I shoot them in a variety of rifles besides my bolt action. So, they must jump a little to the lands in all of them. Even with some hotter loads they have done well. The very best groups I have ever shot were with Nosler ballistic tips and Hornady Vmax BT's. They are very good.

They may for a while............

plan on going to the Sierra 55g semi point which is unreal accurate and super explosive.

I shoot the 55 Gr Noslers in my 6 BR .015 off the lands and they shoot one hole groups. My reamer has zero freebore and in a 22 " barrel, I get around 3600 with H-322...Benchmark works very well too......George
