53grn v-max in an AR?

Is anyone running 53 v-maxs in an AR-15? I'm wondering if they can be loaded to mag length?

Thanks
Matt

They make a 53grn vmax superformance round that I have shot out of my AR with no mag problems. I'm not sure why mag length would be a problem with any 53 grn 223 bullet? Hope that helps!

That Superformance stuff was the only ammo that would shoot anything resembling a decent group in the only AR I've ever owned. Tried some handloads with the 53s and Benchmark, RL-15, and Varget powders; couldn't get near the factory accuracy, regardless of length. Some were just .005 from max magazine length with no problems. Looking back, maybe should have done a slight seating crimp, but ran out of time and patience and traded the rifle.

With H-335 they shoot under 1 MOA in my son's 16" Armalite. Out to 300 yds It's a Prairie dog hammer with them. The results are spectacular.
