52 GR BERGER FB TARGET IN 223 REM POWDER RECOMMENDATION

Just found some 52 gr Berger FB Target bullets and want to try them in my Savage 110C 1-8 223 Rem. Have several powders to try, but don't know which one to try first. Any powder recommendations for a paper punching load at 100-200 yards?
I have: 4198, N140, 3031, H335, Varget, TAC, LT-32, 4064, 4895, & BL-C(2).

Not in your inventory, but one of my 223's hammers with that same bullet pushed by an old old lot of H-322.

The following were in Winchester brass, 2.260"+/- COAL, 205m primer.

H-335 - 25.7 gr

Win-748 - 26.6 gr

H-4198 - 21.8 gr

The Berger reloading manual list 22 powders for 52gr target and varmint bullets, with start, max loads, and fill ratios for each.
Cheers
Tom

Those usually perform best in a 14 twist barrel.

Best luck I ever had with them in a 223 was the very fine grain powers.. 22## something..

Not sure anyone mentioned Benchmark, shoot it in my shillen 1:12 with 53 grain noslers...shoots amazing tight. I also use H335 with the 40 grain Vmax with one hole groups, never tried H335 'with anything heavier.

Ramshot Tac.......you didn't list n133, but it's a good choice as well.
