50 Gr Blitz Kings ln Stock

Sierra's 50gr Blitz Kings are good up to 4400fps. That's a distinct advantage to a shooter who may shoot/load for 221fb as well as a 22-250 with the same bullet. Ammo companies know this as well by providing factory loads for everything from 221Fireball to 220 Swift using 50gr Sierra Blitz KINGS

l think Speer has a 3300fps velocity limit for 50gr TNTs
I'm not sure that I buy Speer would have a 3300 fps speed limit on a 22 cal varmint bullet... There's tons of guys shooting these with a 22-250 and I'm sure they are well over 3300 but that may be another thread topic so we don't take this thread off it's rails ; )

Im shoot them in my 22-6MM AI at over 4300 FPS. It just seems the faster I shoot them the better they shoot.

Well damn.. Ya'll are right again! These TNT's do in fact have a published speed limit (low) and there are countless examples of people having them "come apart" at higher velocities. There's even an article I found from this very forum, from years ago. Make sure you are aware of this as I was not! Now it looks like i'm going to make a switch to something that I won't have to worry about blowing up inside my suppressor. It's only a matter of time before I would find out the hard way by pushing them at over 340,000 rpms. I'm reading a lot of good about the longer, lead free Barnes varmint grenades holding up to high velocities and fast twist barrels. Might give them a try.
