50 BMG and any other rifle Match NE Florida

North Coast Shooters Association has secured a match at Camp Blanding in north east Florida, Camp Blanding is a Florida national Guard base about 8 miles east of Starke Florida.

Match is 3/12-14 2010

Fri 3/12 registration and site in, reg by 3 pm
Sat 3/13 50 BMG and any other rifle 600-900 yards TBA
Sun 3/14 AR15 style MRFR pop-up targets 25-300 meters

Official hotel is Days Inn in Starke, fl 904-964-7600, Carey is contact, mention Nick Mullet and Northcoast Shooters for discount rate of 66.60 total per day, but rate goes up after 2/17 because of Gator Nationals in gainesville.

Just got back from Camp Blanding, Nick Mullet of North Coast Shooters Assoc and I toured the ranges and made contacts for the match 12 March weekend, the facility is outstanding, the Florida National Guard troops were great, really know their business.

Any of you 6 mm guys need to put this on your have to calender, the 50 BMG and any other rifle match Saturday will be shot at 600 yards, the 1000 yard range is not 50 bmg ready at this time, but they have one in construction I think, any way, this one will be a 600 yards, you F Class guys come show us how its done at 600.

The Sunday match is going to be a AR15 style on pop up targets, Nick sat down with the range staff and designed a challenging 1,2,3 pop up sequence from 50 to 300 meters, this is going to be fun, no one is going to go away not satisfied, and after the AR15 match we will shoot pistols at 25 to 75 meters at pop ups, this weekend has it all, you have got to make this one.
