Hit up a ranch that is again over run with coyotes.
I got there before 6pm walked to the blind and proceeded to drop 1 of the 2 that were side by side at 605 pm.
My pal showed up about 730 pm so we just hung and scanned watching 11 or so coyote bypass the spot on their way to another spot on the ranch at different times.
About 1020 pm 2 different coyote show up and start chomping and facing down each other in their fashion of hump backed & low head. They went to different cows and I said you left me right, count of 3 if you have a side shot. Took maybe 30 seconds for my pals to stop and turn, mine was nice & broadside at his dinner plate.
1-2-3..pfffttttwap. Shot at the same mili second and both drop.
After 1 am there are 2 way out there standing nicely so my pal says shoot the lower one.
IR on & put the crosshairs high on its shoulders...thwaappp, drops dead.
Later in the daylight I laser range it as 232 yards.
My pal leaves at 2am. I snooze and look out at 545 am and see 3 dinking around the joint, 2 are moving all over to far out, 3rd on is almost at the same spot as my last shot. I bark & it turns sideways. I know its even further so I hold on top of its back...thwwwaaaapppp, drops on the spot, other 2 splitsville.
I snooze and get it after sun up & picture of how it dropped.
269 yards lasered. I aint complaining.
