5.56x45

I am going to be buying an AR type rifle in the very near future and was wondering, because I have never had a need to know til now, does anyone here load the 5.56x45 NATO rd for thier AR/M4 and is there 5.56 NATO dies made by anyone or is it standard practice to use 223. Remington dies? I have looked and have found none anywhere. Is it possible to reem out a .223 die to the 5.56 dimentions? I'm sure it is but I would like to know what anyone else has done and the results of thier work if I can find any. Thank you all in advance. 44

Standard Rem .223 full length sizing die and seater. The dimensions for nato and .223 are the same. Some may say you need a small based sizing die but I haven't seen any need for them in loading for several different AR's. Standard .223 Remington die sets.
Here's a good article on reloading for an AR:

rg1 thank you for the insight. I have been loading for a long time now and have never loaded or even really thought of the 223 in the AR. I load for a lot of other rifles of my own and they are all bolt guns and never really thought about the AR til now. I was always under the impression that the 5.56 was a bit not a whole lot but a bit different from the 223 Rem. So i am guessing that if a rifle has a 5.56 chamber that to hand load for that I just need to use 223 dies. Thanks once again. 44
