5.56 1977 brass??

A guy has some once fired 1977 Lc 77 brass for sale looks good with the brass get hard after that much age? Is it still good to load and shot from 77?

No it doesn’t go bad. Yes it’s good to shoot.

Thats young compared to some of the stuff I still shoot!! I would anneal it before loading.

I get a lot longer brass life from 197x/8x brass than from the 201x brass I've been using lately.

Anneal it and load it.

I use 30-06 brass with a DEN42 head stamp. Means manufactured at Denver Arsenal in 1942. It cleans up and shoots beautifully.
