4D reamer rental

4D reamer rental, anyone ever deal with them ?? I have a old 22BR Hart barrel and want to put it on another action and need a reamer just to rehead space it. So I don't want to buy a new reamer . And don't care about the neck Diam. Thanks, Art

Used them to rechamber a 458 WIN to 458 LOTT. This was 2 yrs ago and my experience was totally positive.

Up date on rented reamers. I would not recomend a rented reamer, I had a lot of chatter with it, and never had shatter with any of my new reamers. I tried to rechamber a old barrel to get some more life out of it, guess not, if I cut it off again it will be 19" long. Lesson use a reamer that you know is good if you are chambering a new barrel. I met the folks from 4D Reamer Rentals at the Shot Show. They seem like really good folks. I have had new reamers chatter so it is not a problem associated with just used reamers. They use a lot of Pacific Tool and Guage reamers. It is hard to beat them for quality.

I rented a reamer from them for my gunsmith to use and they did not have what I wanted. They ordered the reamer and put it in stock for me. I highly recommend them.

I'm willing to say its my inexprience. But I just got a reamer back that I had the lead reground on and rechambered a barrel with it and it never chattered. Art
