what is a recommended freebore for 137 to 142's? Kiff's is .167 and Mason's is .162? I think.

Either should be fine, IMO. Mine were all chambered with a PTG .123" FB. I sold that reamer after getting a 6BR. Future 6.5X47s will be longer for the 140 class pills. That will be a while, as i'm loving the little six so much, the 47 doesn't get that much exercise.

All depends on what mag your workin with
If you use accurate mag without blinder plate ,youll get 2.950 + COAL with 142 smk .
Remember chambering has a +- .005 tolerance so 167 = 172or162 some were in between . Also cutting your chamber for 142 will work with 139 scenars but most other bullets will be far out in case . Does not leave much room after 300 500 rds . Which depends on many factors powder bbl etc .
If your using bushing dies then youll have no doughnut issue anyway. 145 150 for VLDS
162 fb for the rest IMHO

This is going to be a single shot rifle. Was thinking the 139 lapua's or the 139 and 140 vapor trail's
