.458 paper patched bullet source(s)

Does anyone know where I could purchase straight-sided (i.e. no grease grooves) .458 bullets for paper patching? 20 years ago you could buy PP bullets ready made. Nowadays, not so much. At least, I can't find anything on line. Ultimate goal would be .461 diameter across the patch, which will require .458 to start with.

Does no one offer this style of bullet for sale?

BTW I am not set up for casting.

Check with Buffalo Arms. I bought some swaged pure lead bullets for PP before I started casting.

I checked with them. They have molds but no ready cast bullets.

Check with Montana Bullets, they had them when I was playing with a Sharps.... John

Bear Creek Bullets has lighter un-grooved bullets. They moly coat theirs, but you may be able to bet them uncoated (or unsized, if you want.) Call and ask about whatever you're looking for.
