42 Russian??

Howdy everyone, I have acquired a berdan 2. I know it’s a shot in the dark, but I was wondering if anyone has shot this cartridge or fire formed cases for it and what your process was?

I have a suspicion 348 Winchester brass might work or 43 Spanish. I don’t have dies so 50-100 forming is out of the question.

First place I looked, they are out of stock and I asked when they might get more. They said “they didn’t know”. It’s not a popular caliber by any means.

One other idea is to go on Cast Boolits site where quite a lot of folks shoot BP antique guns like yours and post a lot of good reloading information.
