In the article they said they were still in safe pressure areas.... Yet still playing with different powders....
I have found when dealing with light bullets you can get away with a lot hotter loads. By the time you start to build any pressure the bullet is already on it's way. I load 40gr Vmax's with 25gr of 4198 in my 12 and my 14 twist 223 and it is a 4000 fps round. And 26gr of 4198 with 35gr VmaX'S for 4200 fps and get 4 to 5 firings out of the brass.
