40X rimfire for trade

I have 40X single shot rimfire, has the normal 28" heavy barrel, walnut stock and standard 40X trigger. The bore scopes out good, no rust and the lead looks like its seen little use, there are some handling marks on the barrel and stock.

But, I'd say it looks good over all and I suspect it'll shoot great. Looks like a CMP purchase and from what I can tell it was made in the late 80's or early 90's. I've never shot it, acquired it from an estate with plans to build a benchrest rifle.....but I have a bunch of benchrest rifles already.

I'm in Northwest Wisconsin and would trade for a single shot savage LRPV, we can discuss it......I prefer a face to face meet up.

Since there's some questions regarding the Model of 40X......I dug it out of the safe and looked.

U.S. Government model, has the 700 swept back bolt and has the letter "B" designation after the serial number.

Hope this helps.
