40cal. & 10 mm Shotshell loads

I'm trying to find out about the effectiveness of these pest control rounds. Seems under 15 feet would be max distance. Also the 10MM is not listed in the CCI catalog. IDK if it is safe to use the shorter 40 S&W load in the longer chamber. Anyone here know about these things ? Mike in Ct
 
I shoot a Glock 22 , .40cal and load it just a touch on the warm side , but if you're thinking of shooting a .40cal round in a 10mm , I think the safer practice would be to load a "softer" 10mm load . Not a good idea in my mind , to use the shorter case with a big Jump .
 
if you do a google search there was an extensive thread on loading and shooting 444 marlin shot shells , most of what was covered will apply to what your wanting to do
