40 X Trigger

Which style triggers came on the 40X commercial 22 RF rifles?
With the screw in front of the trigger shoe?
Tombstone safety lever knob or the rounded version?

Mine has flat safety and no screw on trigger. (I'll look again to verify screw)Not sure of vintage

Screw in front and tombstone on the 40x non “b” version that i know was factory orig. if a 40x doesnt have the screw in front for quick adjustments its been changed out over the years

Mine is a 1967 commercial and the trigger has the screw in front, but the safety is not the tombstone.

Here are pics of mine. I misunderstood your trigger screw question I thought you were talking about on the blade itself like an overtravel screw. It has the old flat style safety.

Is it like a Rem 700 safety? Rounded and knurled?

Yes and yes. It is a 40X trigger.
