Sorry the first three are on shoulder neck area and the last one is just up from the base of cartridge. I am just trying to learn what to look for.I can’t tell what you even have there?

Ok thanks. I figured I was being to picky. LolA new broom sweeps clean. Don't sweat the small stuff, just move on.![]()
No they are from a handheld microscope that projects the imagine to cell phone. I use it to help see when my medicine plant is ready. Figured it would work to check out brass also but you see everything. Lolare those picts from a teslong bore scope?
I am full FL sizing all brass is prepped by hand dry tumbled, trimmed, chamfered and deburd 22.250 IMR 8208 XBR 32 grains with 55 grain VMax COAL 2.350My opinion is to shit can them , I'm glad you picked it up . Safety first , any defect like that should be dumped , you can use them for setting up your die , I wouldn't trust them with powder . I've seen stuck cases in a chamber , something you don't want .
What caliber are you loading , bullet and powder? Are you full sizing or neck sizing . How do you prep your brass , from fired case to charging.

Thanks I’ll put that microscope away and do it normally . Lmao.If you magnify the surface of a beautiful, smooth, sharp-as-a-razor knife... you'll find it pockmarked with craters and boulders and you'd swear it ought not be able to cut anything at all.
That's kinda what you've done here.
No one examines brass in the manner you have. There are innumerable photos and descriptions out there of what to look for when evaluating brass - including in most load manuals. You'll find that nearly all those use the naked eye.
Not saying your brass is fine. And not saying it's not. Just saying that the way you've gone about it makes it pretty much impossible to know.
Lay off the meds a lil bit maybe!! LolNo they are from a handheld microscope that projects the imagine to cell phone. I use it to help see when my medicine plant is ready. Figured it would work to check out brass also but you see everything. Lol
I tossed them in my brass can I won’t know which ones they are now. LmaoJust take close up pics with camera and post them here. That will be better. What kind of dies and are they new? What brand of brass?
Yes for a bolt action and the load is near the bottom end of the load in book not hot at all. No I haven’t checked how far my jump was. I did load development with book COAL and they shot great at that length so I didn’t play with seating depth. I tossed them three in the brass bucket.Hurst1324
I don't have my load book to check your numbers but your shooting a nice round , good powder and bullet , prepping is good , sizing your cases , if your sizing for minimum case headspace .002 on a bolt action , your doing fine . 32 grains of your powder with a 55 grain bullet , where does that fall in the load book , mild ,.mid range or hot . Sorry I can't check your numbers now . Your OAL , have you checked to see how far from the rifling your bullet is, jam , touching or jump.. All important in reloading . Follow your gut feeling on the brass , three cases and you picked up a little split or crack , your doing all the right things . Let me ask you , how would you feel to just load them up and fire them. Dumping a few cases no big deal. Be Safe.
