WOW! Great find today! I was on a drive to central NY today and went past a little mom and pop gun shop, so I stopped in. I was able to buy quite a few large rifle primers (Rem 9.5) and quite a few large pistol primers (Winchester WLP). The owner also gave me 500 or so rounds of 38 special casings. Most are Western brand and are nickel plated and I think, in the original box (probably 95% of them). The other ones are brass and are Western, Peters, REM UMC, and WRA. I will need to decap and tumble. As you can see in the picture, they have one, two, or three rings on the casing. Obviously, I would sort them by brand, but do the rings on the casings make a difference when I reload?
