375 Ruger velocity data.

I posted this in another forum with only one response. It was a good response but looking for some more info.
I bought a Ruger 77 African over the winter, it's the one that doesn't have the threaded bbl. for a brake or weight. I've only put about 30rds. through it do to weather & work. I haven't even put a scope on it yet. I'm thinking of taking the one off of my Rem.700 308, a Nikon monarch 2.5x10x42. And getting a new one for the Rem700. But that's a different subject.
Anyway I'm reloading for the 375 using H4350 & RL-17. Loads for the H4350 were pretty easy to find in Hodgdon's & Hornady's manuals. And the Hornady manual all so has loads for RL-17. But I've done about every search I could online and found lots of other loads, some on here & other forums & pdf articles. Which those were a little hotter then the Hornady manual lists.
My question is are these loads I'm listing safe & are the velocity's I'm listing about in the ball park area? I'm estimating the velocity with all the data I've accumulated from other people's posts using a chronograph. Some with 20", 23",24", 26" bbls.
Mine is a 23" bbl.

Using H4350
300gr. 79.5grs. 2610fps
285gr. 81.5grs. 2680fps
270gr. 82.5grs. 2730fps
260gr. 82.5grs. 2785fps
250gr. 82.5grs. 2790fps

Using RL-17
300gr. 81.5grs. 2730fps
285gr. 82.5grs. 2765fps
270gr. 83.5grs. 2800fps
260gr. 84grs. 2875fps

Now remember these are just a ballpark for the velocity's, but do they seem to be reasonable? Also any other data using these 2 powders would be greatly appreciated.
And I'm also thinking of trying the Barnes TSX 235 bullet. So any input on those would be good too. I also have Varget & H414 to use.

H4350 loads seem to be " ball park " I get just a tic more out of a 24" Have not worked with R17 so can not help there.

My results in a 23" Brux. Shot with moly plated bullets, so no charge weights are given.

250 Sierra's - H-4350 - 2947

260 Accubonds - H-4350 - 2924
R-15 - 2882 H-414 - 2896 H-380 - 2822 - best powder w/ this bullet

270 Hornady - H-4350 - 2813 - most accurate load in this gun.
H-414 - 2837

300 Sierra - H-4350 - 2728

R-17 wasn't around when I built this gun. I felt H-4350 was the best powder for all bullet weights in my gun.

Again, all load work was with moly, so my charge weights are higher than yours will be using bare bullets.

I'm 2 1/2 grains more than your 270 or 300/4350 load. More than that with the rest, as you're showing the same charge for 250/260/270 bullets.

That's all I care to share....too many other variables to consider....

Ok thanks alf. Yea the loads I listed aren't loaded to the max.
But from your loads if I subtract using my formula I'm looking good as to my estimated velocity's

Mine loves Reloader 15. I played with both powders you listed but accuracy was best with 15. I'm running a 21 inch barrel. Upper end of nolser reloading book for 15 and get 2580fps with 300 grain accubonds

I've read that a lot of people are using RL-15 with the same results. I used it in my 308 but have since switched to Varget. Mainly because their was a lot of Varget available to me at the time & accuracy was the same. I'm planing on getting some Barnes TSX 235grs. That I'll try with some Varget.
