358 WSSM Help Pls

I have built one of these for deer season in a state with some restrictions.

Could one of you with the nifty load programs help me please.

It has the same case capacity as my 7mm-08, plus maybe 2 grains because I have the bullets out pretty far.

I am using 225 grain bullets. 63,000 psi is what the case is rated for.

I have started working with H4198, H322, H335, and varget. I have not seen any pressure but not getting the velocity I think I should either.

All help appriciate.

call Bill Farrin at BFC cartridges I think he does something with the WSSM line.
On second thought I don't feel comfortable posting data on a cartridge that isn't shown in the program and I haven't tested.

I was using these powders because I was using 358 Winchester data. Same bore, almost same case capacity. I will look up BFC.

Thanks

constructor,

something doesn't seem right with data.

i am traveling and don't have access to my data log, but i am pretty sure i shot 47+ grains of varget with no signs of pressure. if i remember correctly is showed about 2,400 fps.

Of course your's isn't a 358 Winchester but it should be similar. I've always hunted with a 358 Winchester with 50-52 grs. of W748. Of all the powders I've tried that one with the WLR primer was the best combo. It consistantly gives 3/4 minute accuracy at 200 yards with the 200 gr. Hornady spire point. That might be one you would want to play with. I really don't understand those regulations. Best of luck.
